What's the difference between a game server and a dedicated server?
When purchasing a "game server", you purchase a particular game with a particular amount of players. You don't have to do any system administration. You just purchase your game, put in your config and you are ready to game in minutes.
With a dedicated server, you have the freedom to install multiple games on your server. However, GameServers.com provides limited technical support for dedicated servers and administration/installation/modification of the servers is your responsability.
For novice users, we recommend using our individual game subscriptions, which come backed by our 24x7 game server support team.

An optional GameServers.com control panel is available to all dedicated server purchasers. Please note, remote desktop & root access is disabled for control panel enabled servers.

Without Control Panel: If you select no control panel, you have full root or remote desktop access to customize and manage your server.
